How does the instalment works?
BKT cardholders can select either to make a normal payment or instalment while they’re completing a purchase at one of BKT POS participants. Depending on the client’s possibilities he can choose the number of instalments fitting best. The calculation is being done on real time so the client will have the possibility to see the instalment number and the value of it at the moment he gets the payment slip by the merchant.
Where can you buy with instalments?
With Prima cards you can buy with instalments in every store using BKT POS.
Installment payments are not offered for internet purchases and other bank’s POS-s, but after the payment is done you can divide into installments according to ongoing campaigns using “Divide in Installments” in “BKT Smart” and “Online Branch”.
How much can you spend?
You can spend as much as you wish within your card limit approved by the Bank.
What’s the instalment number?
BKT gives the possibility to pay from 2 to 12 instalments based on the financial possibilities. Bank will also define the maximum instalment number depending on each sector.
Buying in instalments - eXtra 0%
Now you can buy everything you need and divide your payment in instalments with 0% interest.
BKT is the first bank in Albanian market to offer the possibility of buying and paying in instalment through credit card and furthermore is still the first bank to offer this service with 0% interest in all its partner merchant and not only.
Instalment service with 0% interest is active in all merchants which has the BKT POS installed.
In these merchants you can divide your purchase up to 3 instalments with 0% interest.
Thanks to collaboration with different partners, instalment service with 0% interest is offered even more than 3 instalments.
Instalment service with interest for Prima Cardholder continues to be active from 2-12 instalments. This service is offered as a second option and can be a choice whenever you want to buy and divide your payment in more instalment by facilitating your monthly expenses against a minimal monthly interest.
Option of instalment service with interest you mainly find it active in merchants who doesn’t have a special agreement for offering this service with 0% interest. Mainly these merchants operate in the telecommunications, electricity, furniture, electronics, electronics and health sectors. If you are interested don’t hesitate to ask the staff inside the store.
What is the percentage applied for this service?
Based on terms and conditions BKT applies a fixed norm of interest for the whole payment period.
For merchants offering instalment payments with 0% interest, this percentage is not applied.
