You can choose to open the new Step Up Deposit in BKT in one of the following currencies: ALL, EUR, USD, or GBP.
The Step Up Deposit is offered with a 2-year maturity.
The interest rates you will benefit from are predetermined at the moment of investment, based on the applicable interest bulletin for the Step Up Deposit for the respective years and currencies. Your earnings will not be affected by changes in market interest rates.
Interest is earned at the end of every 6-month period, and there is no obligation to return the interest even if the deposit is withdrawn before the 2-year maturity.
- Penalty in case of early closure: Only the interest of the intermediate period is lost.

- The Step Up Deposit is not automatically renewable. If you wish to renew your investment, you must sign a new contract with the interest rates applicable at the moment of reinvestment.
