Tirana, Albania (May 25, 2021) – Banka Kombëtare Tregtare has been awarded as the "Best Bank in Albania" and "Most Innovative Bank" for 2020 in Central and Eastern Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States by EMEA Finance in the thirteen edition of Europe Banking Awards 2020.
The awards for "Best Bank in Albania" for the tenth time as well as "Most Innovative Bank" in the region from this prestigious magazine emphasizing its appreciation over the years. EMEA Finance, one of the most important financial magazines in the world which follows developments in the financial markets in emerging Europe, Middle East and Africa, awards each year best banks and financial institutions. The submission for these awards demonstrated that European banking remains in good shape, and proved that the financial industry can weather a severe crisis. The digital advances that have been made over the past decade are proving essential and valuable, while access to financial services are becoming easier and more inclusive.
